EXECUTIVE MAYOR NGODWANA APPOINTS NEW BOARD MEMBERS FOR HOUSING ENTITY

The Executive Mayor of the City of Ekurhuleni, Cllr Sivuyile Ngodwana, is pleased to announce the appointment of the new board of the Ekurhuleni Housing Company (EHC).

The new board members are:

  • Mr Victor Rambau (appointed as Chairperson of the Board);
  • Mr Lumko Mthimde; and
  • Ms Thulisiwe Hangana.

Executive Mayor Ngodwana has mandated the board to ensure that the EHC operates with the highest standards of governance and accountability while playing a critical role in assisting the entity to improve its revenue generation.

“The EHC is a key enabler in our efforts to provide affordable and sustainable housing solutions that meet the needs of our residents. The appointment of the new board members signifies a significant step towards achieving our goal to provide quality and affordable housing to our people,”  said Executive Mayor Ngodwana, encouraging the  new board members to hit the ground running.

The three newly appointed board members are joining Mr. Franklin Dikgale and Mr. Dumisa Hlawula who are already serving as board members of the EHC.
