MASISEBENZENI CRISS CROSSES DUDUZA

Executive Mayor, Alderman Sivuyile Ngodwana, along with Members of the Mayoral Committee descended in Duduza on Friday, 16 February. This was part of the Masisebenzeni Mayoral outreach program which takes place in communities every fortnight.

Masisebenzeni has visited different communities since its launch last year after The People’s Government came into power. All MMCs responsible do spot checks on levels of service delivery in an effort to improve the status quo.

The Duduza visit paid close attention to water provision in the area with a visit to monitor progress on the Masechaba reservoir which is set to start distributing water in two years.

Various other service delivery projects including the beautification of entrances and clearing of illegal dumping took place. The day ended with a stakeholder session which was organised to get the views of the people on issues of service delivery in Duduza among others.
