CITY INVITES KEMPTON PARK RESIDENTS TO PUBLIC MEETING

The City of Ekurhuleni invites Kempton Park residents and customers alike to a public meeting to discuss the ongoing power challenges in area. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, 7 July 2022, at 18h30 at the Kempton Park Civic Centre.

“We have experienced a number of challenges in the area hence the reason to go down to the people and share our plans in terms of turning the situation around,” explains metro spokesman Zweli Dlamini.

The City will be represented by a delegation of politicians and technicians in order to ensure that all uncertainty is addressed at the meeting.

Meanwhile, there will be a planned emergency power outage scheduled to take place Thursday, 7 July 2022, from 08h00 – 13h00. This is due to emergency work at the Kempton Park substation to prevent further damage to the existing equipment, following sporadic power interruptions in the area.
