Join MMC Tiisetso Nketle When She Engages Ekurhuleni Communities On Sustained Provision Of Water

This month, the City of Ekurhuleni joined the world to commemorate World Water Month under the theme Valuing Water.

On Tuesday, 30 March at 18h00, MMC for Water, Sanitation and Energy Cllr Tiisetso Nketle will host a syndicated radio broadcast on Kasie FM, Voice of Thembisa (VOT) and EK FM where she will discuss programmes the city is rolling out to ensure water supply security to communities and business in Ekurhuleni.

Water has proven to be a much-needed resource especially during these trying times of the COVID-19 pandemic which has ravaged countries and communities.

Water impacts an array of important aspects of our lives including food, health, general livelihood in our homes and businesses.

“I call upon our citizens to make a pledge as families, community organisations and businesses to work together with government to protect and preserve this scarce resource,” said MMC for Water and Sanitation Tiisetso Nketle.

“Valuing water is the smart thing to do,” she added.
