YOU ARE INVITED TO HAVE A SAY IN THE CITY’S NEW BUDGET AND IDP PLANS
GERMISTON – The City of Ekurhuleni has embarked on the much-awaited Integrated Development and Planning (IDP) and Budget consultative meetings. The public participation process gets underway from today Thursday, 13 April until 24 April.
The IDP meetings are to be held across the city to give residents the opportunity to make inputs and comment on the draft reviewed (IDP) for the period 2023/24 and the draft Multiyear Budget 2023/24- 2024/25 and 2025/26.
The draft IDP and budget documents are available for viewing on the City of Ekurhuleni’s website www.ekurhuleni.gov.za. Comments and suggestions on the budget and IDP can also be made through the website.
The city has also made desktops and/or laptops available at the City of Ekurhuleni libraries for the community to submit suggestions or comments on both the draft IDP and draft Budget.
The closing date for comments is Wednesday, 26 April 2023.
