City to Consult the Public on New Tarrifs for Rental Housing

The City of Ekurhuleni is conducting public consultations on new rental tariffs for council-owned rental housing stock as resolved by Council on 25 July 2020.

The new rental tariffs propose escalation of rent payable to be capped at a maximum margin of 5.9% per annum for 2020/21 and 2021/22.

A syndicated live community radio broadcast will take place on Wednesday, 9 September, from 18h00 – 10h00. It will be streamed live on Kasie FM, EK FM and Eden Radio as well as the City’s social media platforms.

The tariffs are also available at our Human Settlement offices based in the Customer Care Centres.
