NOTICE OF CITY OF EKURHULENI EXTRA-ORDINARY COUNCIL MEETING – ELECTION OF EXECUTIVE MAYOR

The Speaker of Council, Cllr Raymond Dhlamini, invites all interested members of the public and media to attend the Extra-Ordinary Council Meeting to be held on 8 November 2022.

The meeting is called following the passing of the motion of no confidence in the then Executive Mayor, Ald. Tania Campbell, in the Ordinary Council Meeting held on 26 October 2022.

The meeting is scheduled to take place at the OR Tambo Government Precinct, Germiston.

The details of the Meeting are as follows:

Date:      Tuesday, 8 November 2022

Time:      10h00

Venue:    New Council Chamber, OR Tambo Government Precinct, Germiston

Accreditation will be done outside the Council chambers from 09:00 to 09:30 on a first come, first served basis as space is limited.

Journalists should be seated and set-up by 09:40.
