BENONI OUTAGE UPDATE
Affected Area(s): Northmead and surrounding areas
Reason for Power Outage(s): 132 kV oil-filled cable failure.
Load rotation is in progress as per the published schedule.
The 132 kV cable jointing will be finalised today and start oil circulation. If no further faults in the cable, it will be energised and idle tonight and start taking load as of tomorrow as per the initial plan.
The next update will be tomorrow at 09h00.
