CITY HARD AT WORK TO RESTORE WATER IN VARIOUS AREAS

The City of Ekurhuleni has provided water tankers to residents of Germiston to mitigate the water supply interruption in the area. The water supply challenge is due to a burst pipe that is being attended to.

The estimated restoration time is 08h00 tomorrow, 16 January. Affected areas include:

• Elsburg;

• Lambton;

• Tedstoneville;

• Parts of Wadeville and

• Delville.

On a separate but water related matter, technicians are working around the clock repairing faulty water pumps at the Dawn Park reservoir which has resulted in insufficient water supply in and around Dawn Park.

The affected areas include:

• Dawn Park;

• Mapleton Agricultural Holdings;

• Windmill Park and

• Villa Liza.
