CITY IMPLEMENTS LOAD ROTATION IN PARTS OF BOKSBURG

The city’s technicians are attending to power supply interruption caused by an attempted cable theft in Jet Park, Boksburg North and surrounding areas yesterday, 5 October 2025.

The affected cables are laid on the SANRAL’s servitude line. The process to get a wayleave from SANRAL has caused a delay in restoring power supply.

In the meantime, load rotation has been effected to the affected areas from 08:00 to 17:00.

The affected areas include the following:

  • Jet Park;
  • Comet;
  • Witfield;
  • Boksburg North and surrounding areas.

Jet Park is currently on. Customers are urged to treat electrical networks as live while work is ongoing.
