CITY IMPLEMENTS LOAD ROTATION IN RONDEBULT, PHUMULA AND MAPLETON

The City of Ekurhuleni has resolved to implement load rotation for parts of Rondebult, Phumula and Mapleton, due to faulty high voltage cables.

The load rotation schedule will be implemented effectively from this morning at 10h00 on an alternating basis between the affected areas.

In the meantime, technicians are working to restore a stable power supply.

Load rotation is scheduled as follows:

10h00 – 18h0018h00 – 10h00
Phumula and Mapleton Ext 10Rondebult; Rondebult Ext 2; Rondebult Ext 3; and Portion of Leondale.

Customers are advised to treat electrical networks as live while work is ongoing.
