CITY IMPLEMENTS LOAD ROTATION ON PARTS OF BOKSBURG

The City’s technicians are working on restoring power to parts of Boksburg that are currently without power due to attempted cable theft that caused an outage in the area, including in Jet Park and Witfield.

Load reduction will be implemented while repair works are ongoing.

Load rotation will be implemented as follows:

Monday:

08h00 to 17h00

Witfield and other areas will be switched off.

17h00 to 08h00

Jet Park and Yaldwyn Areas will be switched off until the next morning (Tuesday).

This will continue until all customers are restored.

Areas that are affected by this outage include Comet, Casin, Boksburg North, Ravenswood, Beyers Park Park, Delmore, Witfield, Dayen Glen, Raversklip, Hughes and surroundings.
