CITY TO IMPLEMENT LOAD ROTATION IN PARTS OF GERMISTON
The City’s technicians are working around the clock, attending to faulty cables at the 2nd Input substation and other nearby substations supplying various parts of Germiston.
In the meantime, the city will be implementing equitable eighteen-hour (18) load rotation to the affected areas from 16h30 this afternoon as per the following schedule:

All necessary resources have been deployed to restore a stable power supply to the affected areas speedily.
The estimated restoration time has not been established yet. However, constant updates will be shared on the city’s digital communication platforms.
Residents are advised to switch off all non-essential appliances during the restoration process.
