METRO PUTS PLAN IN PLACE TO NORMALISE WASTE IN DAVEYTON

GERMISTON – The City of Ekurhuleni has put plans in place to normalize waste removal services in the areas of Daveyton/Etwatwa/Wattville. The service was temporarily affected on Friday forcing the city to come up with a recovery plan. The recovery plan will swing into action on Monday and Tuesday.

Monday

DAVEYTON/ETWATWA

  • Cloverdene;
  • Etwatwa Ext 3 & 9;
  • Jumba;
  • Sgodi;
  • Ema 7, 12 & 13;
  • Albertina; and City Corner

WATTVILLE

  • Lekwape;
  • Tamboville;
  • Dubula;
  • Mvulane;
  • Xaba;
  • Soga; and
  • Manyane.

Tuesday:

DAVEYTON/ETWATWA

  • Clverdone;
  • Ramza;
  • Mpinda;
  • Eisselen;
  • Etwatwa Ext 11, 13 and 14; and
  • Blue area.

WATTVILLE

  • Spoornet side;
  • Harry Gwala; Masetloa;
  • Xuma;
  • Godlo;
  • Kama;
  • Khumalo; and
  • Dube.

The City apologises for the inconvenience caused in the past few days and undertakes to normalize the situation soon.
