PLANNED POWER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION IN GELUKSDAL

The City of Ekurhuleni will perform emergency work on the Geluksdal substation in an effort to prevent further damage to the facility and stabilize power supply in the area. The project will take place on Friday, 29 July, 2022 from 08h00 until 17h00 – resulting in a power interruption.

The whole of Geluksdal and a portion of Labore industrial area will be affected by this exercise.

Technicians will work continuously until power is fully restored to all affected areas. All electrical networks and equipment must be regarded as being electrically live at all times while the work is being carried out.
