PLANNED POWER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION IN NIGEL

The city’s technicians will be conducting emergency maintenance work on electrical components at the Nigel substation on Wednesday, 04 December 2024 from 09h00 to 15h00.

This will necessitate a power outage for customers in the industrial areas.

Areas to be affected include the following:

  • Nigel and Extensions;
  • Nigel CBD;
  • Ferryvale;
  • Noycedale;
  • VisagiePark;
  • Glenvarloch;
  • Brickor;
  • Alra Park;
  • McKenzieville;
  • Cerutiville;
  • Snake Park;
  • Gold Mine; and
  • ERWAT.

Customers are advised to treat electrical networks as live at all times while work is ongoing.
