PLANNED WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION FOR EDENVALE

GERMISTON – There will be a water supply interruption affecting some parts of Edenvale between 18:00 today and Sunday 11 June at 12:00. This is to enable Rand Water to connect a new pipeline to the system. 

The affected areas will be:

  • Isandovale;
  • Edenglen;
  • De Klerkshof;
  • Eastleigh;
  • Hurlyvale;
  • Highway Gardens;
  • Buurendal;
  • Illiondale;
  • Sebenza; and
  • Meadowdale.

Meanwhile, the other parts of Edenvale supplied by Johannesburg Water will also experience a supply interruption on Saturday, 10 June from 09:00 to 14:00 due to maintenance.

The areas to be affected are:

  • Bush Willow;
  • Dickie Fritz;
  • Denne Ave; and
  • Parts of Modderfontein road.

To mitigate the impact of the two processes, the City of Ekurhuleni will provide water tankers to the affected areas. Consumers are also encouraged to store sufficient water to mitigate the impact of the interruption.
