Planned Water Supply Interruption in Brakpan
The City of Ekurhuleni wishes to inform customers in Brakpan of a planned water supply interruption from 08h00 on 25 November to 15h00 on 26 November 2020. The water supply interruption is due to connection of a new water supply pipeline. Customers are urged to store enough water to utilise during this time.
The following areas will experience no supply of water:
- Sallies Village
- Vulcania
- Maryvlei
- Ergo Informal Settlement (Mkhancwa)
There will be low water pressure in Withok Estates and Brenthurst.
Water tankers will be available at:
- Uranium Road Vulcania, 16th Avenue, Sallies Village before railway line and another after the railway line at Ergo (Mkhancwa).
- Savemore Shopping Centre at Maryvlei
- San Mitchell Home, Withok Estates
The City of Ekurhuleni wishes to remind residents to ensure that their taps are closed for the duration of the outage to a avoid air running through water meters and which may cause a damage.
