POWER UPDATE: EMERGENCY REPAIRS TO THE POWER SUPPLY INFRASTRUCTURE IN NIGEL ARE ON TRACK

The City of Ekurhuleni informs customers in Nigel that work remains on track to restore power to all affected areas by 16:00. Technicians are making progress with emergency repairs at the Almac substation.

The following areas are affected:

  • Mackenzieville;
  • Alra Park; and
  • All extensions.

Residents are advised to treat electrical networks as live at all times.

The City apologises for the inconvenience this has caused.
