REPAIRS ON VOSLOORUS RESERVOIR CONTINUE
The City of Ekurhuleni wishes to inform residents in parts of Vosloorus that repairs to the damaged Vosloorus Extension 9 reservoir are ongoing.
Due to the severity of the repairs and the specialised equipment required for the project, the completion date is anticipated to be Monday, 30 June.
During this period, residents may experience low water pressure to no water supply, particularly during peak hours and high-demand periods. Water supply is being maintained through smaller reservoirs in the area while repairs are underway.
The affected areas remain as follows:
- Portions of Vosloorus Extension 2: No water supply
- Portions of Vosloorus Extensions 11, 13, and 28: Low water pressure
To mitigate the impact, roving water tankers have been deployed at the following locations:
- Zakhe Road
- Zathu Road
- Dikgwading Street
- Tsie Road
- Douglas Montseng Road
- Xabashe
- Sepeng Street
- Mbatha Road
- Lenao Cl
