WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION IN GERMISTON AND KEMPTON PARK

GERMISTON – The City of Ekurhuleni is attending to water supply interruptions in Germiston and Kempton Park.

Germiston

The water supply interruption is due to a burst pipe, and the estimated restoration time is 20:00 this evening.

The affected areas include:

  • Lambton;
  • Wadeville;
  • Dinwiddie; and
  • Castleview.

Kempton Park

Some areas are experiencing low water pressure after repairs to a burst water pipe were completed and the water supply was restored yesterday, 6 July.

The affected areas include:

  • Glen Marais;
  • Isando Industrial;
  • Rhodesfields;
  • Aston;
  • Bredell;
  • Croydon; and
  • Spartan.

Roving water tankers remain in the affected areas.

The City of Ekurhuleni apologises for the inconvenience caused.
