600 New Homes Connected To Water in Clayville Extension 79

On Tuesday, 9 March, the Water and Sanitation Department connected water to 600 new homes in Extension 79, Clayville, Thembisa.

Work started in earnest at 09h00 which affected other areas that feed from the same water pipelines as Extension 79. The technical teams had planned to finalise the job by midday but alas, work took longer than expected.

A roving water tanker was at hand to assist communities of extensions 45, 71 and 80 who did not have water during the day. Water was restored by 18h00.
