Bokkie Park Dam Rehabilitated After Sewer Spillage

A sewage blockage that affected the Bokkie Park dam in Boksburg has been addressed and the dam rehabilitated from the sewer impact.

Emmanuel Maphorogo, head of parks in the City reassures patrons of the Bokkie Park that all animals are safe and all hands are on deck to maintain all municipal recreational facilities.

“We appreciate the concerns constantly raised by the residents with regard to the upkeep of all municipal facilities as that serves as another form of alert of service interruption. We therefore call on all residents to come to our parks to experience the beauty of nature on their doorstep,” said Maphorogo.
