City Replaces Faded Signs after Heavy Storm

The City is moving at full speed to replace faded road signs across Ekurhuleni.

Head of Roads and Stormwater Department Sizwe Cele said road signs give critical information to drivers which goes a long way to ensure visibility on the road and safety of both pedestrians and motorists.

They also help to communicate messages to drivers and pedestrians that can maintain order and reduce accidents.

“With the current rainfall, it is very important that we make sure that our roads are clearly marked,” he said.
