TECHNICIANS ATTENDING TO BREDELL POWER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION

The city’s technicians are attending to a power supply interruption affecting Bredell near Kempton Park, following vandalism on the electrical infrastructure.

The vandalism occurred while technicians were working on the network to restore power supply to Pomona which was affected by an earlier supply interruption.

The current power supply interruption is affecting large parts of Bredell.

Estimated restoration time is 20:00 this evening. However, technicians are working with urgency to restore power sooner.

Customers are urged to treat electrical networks as live while work is ongoing.
