MMC for Water and Sanitation Cllr Tiisetso Nketle thanked the technical teams that have worked around the clock to keep to the anticipated time frames to finalise the connection of water.
“We had put 15h00 today as our targeted time and our technicians have delivered at the exact time,” she said.
“We are grateful to our businesses, residents and other stakeholders who showed understanding and patience while work was going on. Together we can truly achieve more,” Nketle added.
The job has been successfully completed and water is running smoothly in all areas of Brakpan. Should anyone experience any glitches they are requested to report it to the call centre.
The City thanks customers for making full use of the water supplied through water tankers that were dispatched and located at various dedicated places within the communities.
