City Continues With the Installation of Street Name Signs

Faded street names continue to be replaced where needed across the City.

This is part of the City’s campaign of putting up and replacing faded street names with Van Riebeeck Park receiving attention.

“We are still at Van Riebeeck area and other identified areas will follow, this project will be rolled out city wide,” explained Head of Roads and Stormwater Department Sizwe Cele.

Resident of Eekhoring Street Louisa Strydom applauded the City for replacing the faded street names in the area.

“It was so difficult to direct people coming to visit us due to the faded street name. Thanks to the City for giving our properties an identity,” she said.
