City Improves Roads Infrastructure

City improves road infrastructure 3 CopyNo road in the City of Ekurhuleni should have potholes, says the City’s Head of Department for Roads and Stormwater Sizwe Cele.

“As a department we have plans in place to service our roads infrastructure and support the economy of our beautiful city by having good roads,” he said.

Since the beginning of the year, the City has embarked on a drive to maintain and ensure roads are kept in tip-top conditions. This includes filling potholes, replacing faded road signs and remarking road signs as well as clearing out stormwater drainage systems.

This week saw potholes on Deodar Street in Pomona (Ward 23) in Kempton Park receiving attention, in line with the City’s drive.
