City Marks the Roads in Birchleigh
The City through its department of Roads & Stormwater has done road marks on Munni Street after routine checks showed the need for repainting of the marks. Roads & Stormwater’s depot manager in Thembisa Kgadi Marumo attributed the quick response to service delivery issues to working together with the residents and ward councilors. Munni street is one of the busiest streets in Birch Acres, as far as traffic volume is concerned.
Resident of Birch Acres where pleased with the work by the city officials. Maria Motlhake of Munni street said, “We are indeed pleased to see the city prioritizing our road safety.” Said the mother of two.
In strengthening its partnership with its communities, the city is calling upon its residents to report all road related issues through its call centre on 0860 543 000 or through My CoE App.
