City Promotes Road Safety by Patching Potholes

The war on potholes was won in Proteus Street in Sedibeng, Thembisa when the Roads and Stormwater team stepped in to patch up the road.

This follows a routine maintenance check by the department. Chief Engineer at Thembisa depot Kgadi Marumo said the department wants to make sure that all roads in the City are in good in condition.

“It is our responsibility to ensure safety on the roads and during this festive season in support of the festive road safety campaign,” he said.

Roads are arteries of economic activities, such as transporting goods in and out of the City.
