Edenvale Roads Have Been Marked

City responds to road markings in Edenvale 1Road markings are receiving a face lift by the City and this week Roads and Stormwater Department members were seen in action on the corner of Van Riebeeck and Hendrik Potgieter roads in Edenvale.

According to the department, road markings provide valuable information to drivers and other road users. They represent rules that are in place to keep road users safe, and help to communicate messages to drivers and pedestrians.

Requests were received from businesses in Edenvale CBD for the City to look into the non-visible road markings in the areas.

Businessman, Abraham Joel says, “These streets were posing a danger to motorists and residents in the area, especially our customers as these are main streets. I am very happy to see the City responding to our concerns as the residents, businesses and motorists of this area.”

In strengthening its partnership with its communities, the City urges all road related issues to be reported to the call centre on 0860 543 000, call.centre@ekurhuleni.gov.za or through My CoE App.
