Road Markings and Signage Improve Traffic Flow
Moederhill Street in Eidleen, Kempton Park, is now marked following residents alerting the City to the faded road markings and lack of road signs.
Road markings and signage provide valuable information to drivers and other road users. They represent rules that are in place to keep road users safe, and help to communicate messages to drivers and pedestrians so as to maintain order and reduce accidents. Daily commuters who use Moederhill to work and back have applauded the City for erecting a stop sign that will go a long way to reduce and control the traffic flow.
There were times motorists were late for work because there was not stop sign, but has since changed and the City was thanked for its considerate response in erecting the signage.
In strengthening its partnership with its communities, the City calls on its residents to report all road-related issues through to its call centre on 0860 543 000 or through My CoE App.
