Thokoza Power Update

All trenches were closed and remaining cables connected at the Thokoza substation today (Thursday, 13 August). If all tests come out positive, the second transformer will be ready to take load on Friday, 14 August.

This follows weeks of work to rebuild the substation after it blew up on 6 July, causing extensive damage and leaving residents in the dark.
