CITY SUSPENDS HARAMBEE BUS OPERATIONS AMID TAXI STRIKE

The City of Ekurhuleni wishes to notify commuters of the Harambee bus service of immediate suspension of the service until further notice.

The suspension of the bus service is due to the currently ongoing minibus taxi strike, that is expected to affect most public transport in various parts of the city.

The city, therefore, pleads with commuters to find alternative transport modes, while all stakeholders work to speedily find a lasting solution to the issues giving rise to the strike.

The city apologises for the inconvenience this may cause.
