CITY’S HARAMBEE BUS RAPID TRANSPORT SERVICES TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED

The City of Ekurhuleni informs commuters of a temporary suspension of Harambee Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) services due to a contractual dispute between the city and the BRT operator. The affected services include the bus and station operations, and ticket sales.

The city is currently engaged with the operator for a speedy resolution of the dispute and resumption of services.

We are actively working to restore the bus services and will keep commuters informed as soon as operations resume.

We will extend ticket validity for any days affected by these service interruptions.

Commuters are advised to make alternative transport arrangements in the meantime.
