HARAMBEE BUS SERVICE IN FULL OPERATION

The City of Ekurhuleni wishes to notify commuters of the resumption of the Harambee bus service, as of Monday, 08 August, 2022. The service was put on hold when Thembisa township experienced a violent service delivery protest for the better part of last week.

Commuters who are still in possession of bus tickets that expired between 01 August and 05 August, 2022, will be accepted until Thursday, 11 August 2022. However, there will be no refunds provided for any ticket.

The City apologises for the inconvenience this has caused.
