Update on Brakpan Water Interruption
Planned work to connect to the new reservoir in Brakpan got off to an earnest start at 08h00 this morning. The work being done will improve water storage to the area and is estimated to be done by 15h00 on Thursday, 26 November.
Please keep all taps closed to avoid air running through water meters which may cause damage. Areas affected by this are:
- Sallies Village
- Vulcania
- Maryvlei
- Ergo informal settlement (Mkhancwa)
- Withok Estates
- Brenthurst
Water tankers are at:
- Uranium Road, Vulcania
- 16th Avenue, Sallies Village
- One before and one after Railway Line at Ergo
- Save Moore shopping centre
- San Mitchell Home, Withok Estate
- Roving tankers are also in the affected areas.
