CITY WORKING TO ATTEND TO WASTE REMOVAL BACKLOG IN THEMBISA

The City of Ekurhuleni is working around the clock to address the waste removal backlog in various parts of Thembisa.

One of the key contributors to the backlog has been extensive delays at landfill sites due to muddy surfaces, and the closure of some of the facilities.

The city pleads for patience from all its customers as it attends to the backlog. Areas affected include:
