TSAKANI AND DUDUZA RESERVOIR LEVELS UPDATE

The City of Ekurhuleni wishes to notify residents that the Rand Water’s Mapleton and Zwartkoppies supply systems are slowly stabilising.

The reservoir levels as of this morning were as follows:

  • Xhosa Reservoir – 60%
  • Tsakani Zulu Reservoir – 70%
  • Duduza Reservoir – 45%

Water supply is currently being restored to high lying areas such as Tsakani extensions 12b, 9, 10 and 17.

However, Langaville Extension 10, Tsakani extensions 19, 20, 21 are still experiencing supply interruptions. 

In the meantime, the City will be deploying seven roving water tankers in all the affected areas.
