CITY OPENS THE FILM INDUSTRY FOR BUDDING FILMMAKERS

The City of Ekurhuleni calls on all aspiring filmmakers and film industry enthusiasts to a one-day workshop to unlock the magic of indie film mastery at the Dumisani Masilela Theatre in Germiston on Tuesday, 21 November 2023.

The workshop will unpack for the filmmakers the tricks of the trade on uncovering the power of social media wizardry and influencer engagement. Also, to learn how to craft irresistible film trailers, posters, and marketing materials that leave audiences and industry professionals craving for more.

The workshop will not just be about theory; it will also be about action. Get ready to submit your film to festivals with a step-by-step guide, including crafting a compelling press kit and selecting the right festival category for optimum exposure.
