EKURHULENI CREATIVE INDUSTRIES CRAFT AND DESIGN POP-UP MARKET 

Get ready for an explosion of creativity and talent at the Our Spring Market at Springs Mall where Ekurhuleni will host a Craft and Design Pop-up Market. This is in collaboration with the Gauteng Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation, Ekurhuleni Library and Information Services and Springs Mall. 

It’s all happening on Saturday, 2 September 2023, at Springs Mall in Ekurhuleni, Gauteng.

This is not just your average market. It is a celebration of the incredible artistic talents that reside within the vibrant community of Ekurhuleni. It is a platform for artists to gain exposure, expand their networks, and take their careers to new heights. The Our Spring Craft and Design Pop-up Market is not just about highlighting talent; it’s about fostering a sense of community and empowering local creatives. It brings together creatives from various backgrounds, providing a platform for them to connect, collaborate, and learn from one another. 

BUT, that’s not all. Our libraries are also part of the Our Spring Craft and Design Pop-up Market in partnership with Gauteng Province Library Services to include an exhibition from local authors. Pop in and explore the literary world and engage with local talented authors. 

September is also literacy month and some of the activities on the day include a separate section dedicated to storytelling that will captivate children as the authors read their remarkable tales, sparking their imaginations, and nurturing a love for literature.

For the young ones who crave excitement, a fun gaming area is available.
