
Learners in Ekurhuleni to experience All Start Games fever
The City of Ekurhuleni representatives along with some of Gauteng All Stars talent will visit schools in Ekurhuleni on Wednesday, 13 March 2019 to raise awareness about for the tournament and garner support for women’s football.
Schedule of the visit is as follows:
1. 09h00 – Geluksdal Secondary School, Brakpan
2. 09h50 – Reshogofaditswe Secondary School, Tsakane
3. 10h30 – M.O.M Seboni High School, Duduza
4. 11h30 – Zimisele Secondary School, Kwa-Thema
The Gauteng All Star Games, is a one-day invitational tournament taking place on Saturday, 23 March 2019 at Tsakane Stadium in Tsakane. Tickets for the Gauteng All Stars Games are free, and can be collected on Thursday, 21 March and Friday, 22 March at Tsakane Stadium from 10am.
The tournament will feature four teams led by Janine van Wyk, Portia Modise, Keneilwe Mathibela and Simphiwe Dludlu, who are all proud Banyana Banyana alumni.
Each team will comprise a squad of playmakers that will include: current players in the Senior National Team (Banyana Banyana), players in the u20 National Team (Basetsana), players in the
u17 National Team (Bantwana), players in the Sasol Gauteng Women’s League and Banyana Banyana Legends.
