Netball Development For Up and Coming Players

The Alberton Korfball Court will be a hive of action when Total Net Development hosts the Alberton Outdoor Netball Challenge.

With the first leg that took place on 10 October, the netball challenge which is divided into four groups is set to continue this Saturday (24 October 2020) at the korfball courts.  Thereafter, the tournament will be held on 7 and 21 November, with the last leg taking place on 5 December 2020.

The four groups are for age groups 10-11, 12-13, 14-17 and senior.

“The purpose of this event is for us to develop young up and coming netball players from within the City in order to make sure that we continue with the legacy of having a number of professional players who come from the City,” said netball coach Mampho Tsotetsi, a former netball national player (Protea) from Vosloorus.

For a team to register for this event, a R200 registration fee is needed for each of the legs. Winners of these will qualify to get two free games for the next tournament, and also a masterclass with Total Net World class coaches.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic no fans or spectators will be allowed inside venue. For registration or further information, please email details of your team to events.totalnet@gmail.com.
