POSTPONED: THEATRE PRODUCTION TO HONOUR CHRIS HANI

April is dubbed the ‘Chris Hani Month’ in the City of Ekurhuleni – a period of the year that is dedicated to commemorating the life and times of this liberation struggle icon. 

It has been 32 years since the passing of Hani, who is a free person of Ekurhuleni, after he was assassinated outside his home in Dawn Park, Boksburg. As such, the city annually lines up activities to honour Hani.

Unfortunately, the musical theatre production depicting the life of Hani curated by local artists based at the Dumisani Masilela Theatre in Germiston has been postponed.

The musical production was to have taken place from 15 – 17 May daily at 15h00.
