Scintillating Performances at Masterclass Finale

The City of Ekurhuleni in partnership with Kincha Media hosted a successful grand finale of the Masterclass talent search at the Dumisani Masilela Theater in Germiston on Saturday, 19 June.

Various groups who had qualified from the preliminary stages, showcased their talents in front of well-known TV actors Baby Cele and Masotja Msiza as well as Angel Zondo who specializes in voice training in music. Performance from groups such as Tswelopele Youth Development in traditional dance, storytelling by Umzekelo, Marimba music by Kristo Inkosi Marimba Dance, kept the audience captivated.

“It pleases us as the City to see young performing artists from Ekurhuleni displaying so much talent. The future is bright for these artists’’ said Pascar Dube, Manager of Performing Arts in the City.

King Chauke, Director of Kincha Media applauded the artists, describing the talent from the groups as ‘unmatched’.

The event was held as part of the Youth Month programme.
