Street Mile Series Kicks Off
The 2020 edition of the Street Mile Series kicks off in March ,thanks to a partnership between the City and local athletics clubs.
A total of six clubs, all members of the Central Gauteng Athletics, will rotate hosting the series with Gallopers having a first go in March at Alston Primary School in Leondale.
A street mile is a road race which is 1.6km long and divided into categories that range from under 13, 15, 19, open and elite.
The Steet Mile Series will be hosted by different clubs as follows:
